Dear Rabbi Moshe,
Thank you sooooooo much for ordering the Torah Scrolls for us. It is beautiful.
Just the size I wanted. What a blessing. We are having an ark made to keep it
in. Do you have any history on this scroll, like where it came from? Also if you
have any teaching on how to properly handle the Torah.

We received the Torah that you sent just about an hour ago. To
say we were thrilled beyond words is a rather 'humungeous'
understatement. Todah rabbah!
Please understand that we are babes and we want to do things in a
proper manner. Can you suggest some book which would cover all that
we should know about the respectful handling of the scrolls? Also some
possible ideas about an arc design for our home in which to place
the Torah. We had thought of giving the details to the local
tech school carpentry class and have one custom built.
Just wondering if you have any information on its history and where
it might have been prior to you receiving it? Thanking you in
advance for any help you might give us.
